Plate shears have a massive cast-iron or steel construction. They are used for plate cutting of any length, width up to 1000 mm, gradual shear. They also allow angled shears by rotating the rotary stop. Plate shears have blades that are made of tool steel and are replaceable. The lever is counterbalanced
